 Accessories
The VSC line is a very flexible modular system. The trailer, portable stand, and fixed mount packages are all accessory items, so you have complete flexibility. Any of these options may be purchased initially as a package with your display, or at any time in the future, at which time your portable display will easily convert over. This has allowed many departments to spread their cost over time & get the highest quality system available, while working with a limited budget
  
 
 VEHICLE MOUNT

The standard VSC-1820 is provided with everything needed to mount to a vehicle. The custom made suction cup mounts measure 3 1/2" across, and hold so well that they would be next to impossible to remove were it not for the built-in vacuum release valves. This system is often deployed using a "retired" patrol car. Power is taken directly from the vehicle, yet with its minimal power consumption, there is no worry about coming back to a car that won't start.

 
PORTABLE STAND MOUNT

Heavy-duty folding stand allows the VSC system to be set-up independent of a vehicle, with power supplied by a portable battery pack.
This system can be kept in the trunk of a patrol vehicle where it is always ready to be deployed. In about 2 minutes an officer can set it up and be on his way.

The incredible simplicity of deployment combined with a high degree of effectiveness means that this is a tool that is going to be used on a regular basis, and for many years to come.

 

SOLAR POWERED INSTALLATIONS


Along with the standard 110/220 VAC power, fixed installations can be solar powered. Solar powered installations vary greatly, and are designed to the very specific conditions of your application(s). Please contact us for your specific requirement.

THE TRAILER-MOUNTED RADAR SPEED MONITOR

The Voluntary Speed Compliance trailer provides a convenient way to deploy the VSC-1820 speed monitor. It provides all of the features of the VSC-1820 display, plus solar charging. The standard 480AH power pack provides enough power to run the display 24-7 for several weeks. Solar panel keeps the battery pack charged when not in use, completely eliminating the need for maintenance. Includes an 18" two digit red or amber LED speed display board with self-contained K-band radar unit. Violation Alert display flashing feature can be set from 8 to 75 MPH or KPH.
